Roles and Responsibilities:
- To support pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2
- To work in the classroom as well as outside on site
- To manage behaviour of cnildren with ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.
- Improve the quality of learning and foster the participation of students in setting with the social, emotional and mental health, personal development.
- To liaise with other professionals and work on a ration of 2 students to 3 members of staff.
- To support students with emotional regulation and their behaviours
- Use the relevant behaviour systems
- To communicate with parents and carers when necessary
- To record progress sessions
The ideal candidate will have:
- Empathy
- A passion for seeing young people grow and develop
- Commitment to uphold the values and ethos of the setting
- A proactive approach to learning and development
- A nurturing attitude
- Additional interests in sport, activities and vocational learning is admirable but not essential
