Provide Education are seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND School in Retford 
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • To support pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • To work in the classroom as well as outside on site  
  • To manage behaviour of cnildren with ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • Improve the quality of learning and foster the participation of students in setting with the social, emotional and mental health, personal development.
  • To liaise with other professionals and  work on a ration of 2  students to 3 members of staff.
  • To support students with emotional regulation and their behaviours
  • Use the relevant behaviour systems
  • To communicate with parents and carers when necessary
  • To record progress sessions
 
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for seeing young people grow and develop
  • Commitment to uphold the values and ethos of the setting
  • A proactive approach to learning and development
  • A nurturing attitude
  • Additional interests in sport, activities and vocational learning is admirable but not essential
