Job Title: Materials Handler / Counterbalance FLT Driver

We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing company based in Redditch. This role is well suited to candidates with prior warehouse or manufacturing experience, holding a valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and proven experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload deliveries safely using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Transport raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the site.
- Supply production areas with required materials in a timely manner.
- Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) efficiently and safely.
- Ensure correct storage of stock within designated locations.
- Accurately complete stock movements and associated paperwork.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults promptly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Provide support to warehouse and production teams as required.
- Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
- Experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Committed to maintaining health and safety standards.
- £12.87 per hour.
- Temporary to permanent position.
