We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting based in Grays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, with an MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) or SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) background being highly desirable.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Previous SEN teaching experience
  • MLD or SLD experience preferred
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Passionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
