We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing business based in Thurrock.
This role will involve working across both the yard and workshop environment, moving large steel products and materials safely around site using a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck. You will support the manufacturing, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure products are moved, stored and loaded efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
- Moving steel products and materials around the yard and workshop
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Supporting goods in and dispatch operations
- Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
- Ensuring stock is stored, handled and transported safely
- Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties where required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a Combi / Side Loader forklift truck
- Valid FLT licence preferred
- Experience working within a manufacturing, warehouse or yard environment
- Comfortable handling large or heavy materials
- Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
- Due to the location, candidates will need to drive and have access to a vehicle
- Hours & Benefits:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Early finish every Friday
- Full-time permanent position
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
