Established groundwork and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential groundwork projects across the Dorset area.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in groundworks, civil engineering, and site delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing commercial and residential groundwork projects from start to completion

• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

• Managing health & safety compliance across sites

• Attending client and site meetings

• Monitoring programme and progress reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing groundwork and civils projects

• Strong understanding of commercial and residential developments

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
