Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to work at a welcoming school in the Stockport area on a full-time, long-term basis.
The school is looking for a reliable, proactive, and hardworking individual who has previous experience working as a Site Supervisor or Caretaker within a school setting.
The Role:
- Full-time split shift position
- Opening and closing the school site each day
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring the school grounds are safe, secure, and well maintained
- Supporting with cleaning responsibilities across the site
- Health & Safety checks and site compliance duties
- Liaising with contractors and school staff where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience working as a Site Supervisor or Caretaker within a school setting
- Is confident carrying out basic maintenance and repair work
- Has good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
- Is reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Has strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
