EC&I Technician
We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an EC&I Technician to join their maintenance team at a major energy generation facility within a Top Tier COMAH site in Cumbria.
The role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the site’s electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations 24/7.

The role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the site’s electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting PPM, defect repairs and fault finding on EC&I systems.
- Troubleshooting rotating and static equipment.
- Working with CMMS (Maximo), and ensuring safety documentation (RAMS, permits) is completed to standard.
- Supporting project scopes and supervising contractors.
- Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Control Engineering.
- Strong understanding of control loops, instrumentation, and EC&I safety regulations.
- Good working knowledge of risk assessments, method statements, and electrical schematics.
- Willingness to develop across both Electrical and C&I disciplines.
