CNC Programmer Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, setting up CNC machines, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties

• Program CNC machines using CAD software to create precise components according to specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and materials handling.
• Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate parts by interpreting engineering drawings and applying appropriate machining techniques.
• Assemble components as required, utilising hand tools and welding techniques where necessary.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make adjustments as needed to maintain production flow.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming Siemens 808D Controls
• Proficiency in CAD software for programming purposes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with logic controllers and tooling.
• Ability to operate hand tools and perform welding tasks effectively.
• Experience in materials handling and an understanding of fabrication processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
